The innocents dying by drinking the black rain,
The rain that is poisonous but the naives are clueless,
So they drink it to soothe the burning heat,
That is making their skin wilt away.
How can this be a cheerful event?
But the victory is celebrated on the other side of the world.
The explosion of the atom was earth shattering,
That it left it’s mark on the future generations to come.
How can this catastrophe be anyone’s celebration?
How can this disaster be anyone’s new beginning?
This can only mean the last days of humanity.

” Footprint “
The water is the source that keeps us alive,
Not the big house, not the fancy car, not the grand status.
Live one day out in the nature,
You will see how we have abused the resources,
Live one day out with the nature,
You will feel the agony of thirst.
We let it flow without any measures,
We let it go for our so called ‘Rich foods’;
We have a footprint that will make our future generations ashamed of their origins.
It’s true, most of us do not have to walk miles to get a litre of water,
Maybe that’s why we take it for granted.
How can we be so forgetful, we were taught that water available for us is around 3 percent only.
It is true, maybe education does not define our intelligence,
But it surely is indicating our ignorance and entitlement…
